The aene [ˈwən] fork is the first 1" maegic oldschool BMX part. The legendary PTR freestyle fork served as the model; it was often ridiculed for its weight and, unfortunately, didn't sell well for that reason. Now almost impossible to find, it was the perfect candidate to build a replica. A fork consists of quite a few individual parts. I was able to buy the steerer tube and Crown Race stem. I bent and cut the tubes and dropouts myself. Full chromoly all the way, of course. Yeah, i bought a crown race cutter to straighten the bearing surface at the end. Unfortunately, I made a mistake while shortening the legs, which is why the fork is now 5mm shorter than originally planned. I finished it anyway, but with the intention of building it again but with a lot of new knowledge :-)
