The BMX project "maegic maester"

Presentation of the BMX frame "The maester [mˈæstɚ]".

The maester [mˈæstɚ] was my second BMX frame building project and includes an iconic twin top tube design with a unique brake set up. The purpose was to build it up for myself and replace my current rider frame and fork combo. I'm not a tall guy so i reduced the TT length and the seat tube height. It looks like a flatland frame and i like it.

The BMX project "maegic freestyler"

Presentation of the BMX frame "spaece [spˈe͡ɪs]" incl. the "caet [kˈæt]" handle bars aka the "maegic [mˈæd͡ʒɪk] Freestyler".

Inspired by the oldschool VDC Freestyler i tried to raise the design to a new level. This is not a copy but a one of a kind Freestyler evolution. Find the important information and pictures below.

Home made BMX on maegic.de

Welcome to to the maegic [mˈæd͡ʒɪk] blog, which is about home made BMX frame / fork / bars building. I'm not into words, so you will find a lot of pix describing what i did to create a rideable BMX frame.

I started these projects as a welding newbie and want to share my experiences and my honest results. The welding pro's will smile about the tooling and the results. But hey, give me a chance and i will make it to the welders gate :-)
